Outdoor Dog is a woman veteran-owned organization that was founded by Stephanie Peebles. Stephanie started training dogs in 2005 when her first training partner, Harley, entered her life. She’s enjoyed learning from her dogs Harley, Liam, and Oliver and continues learning from her current dogs Peter and Chloe.
She has experience in pet dog training, dog sports, and behavior modification. In 2018, she earned her Bachelors degree in animal studies with a concentration in biology and psychology. After earning her degree, she transitioned to working in the service dog industry, which she continues today at an accredited service dog organization. Stephanie considers herself a life-long learner and enjoys continuing her education through attending various learning opportunities such as conferences, training classes, and webinars.
Outdoor Dog was created from Stephanie’s passion for both dogs and the outdoors. During a 2015 hike with her Beagle, Oliver, the idea for a titling venue that focused on outdoor activities was born. Four years later in 2019, the dream of Outdoor Dog became a reality when the titling program launched and the first title was awarded.
Today, Stephanie shares her life with her Beagles, Peter and Chloe, her two cats, Harvey and Dewey, and her chickens. In her spare time, she enjoys competing in dog sports, spending time with her animal friends, enjoying tea and books, and of course, going on adventures with Peter and Chloe!
